Doris "Grandma Sue" Grace (Rhoads) Millen

Doris “Grandma Sue” Grace Millen, 75, of Idaho Falls, passed away September 1, 2024, at Teton Healthcare of Cascadia.

Sue was born July 26, 1949, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to Smokey Rhoads and Alice May Williams Rhoads. She grew up and attended schools in Shoshoni, Wyoming and graduated from Shoshoni High School. Growing up, Sue traveled all over and lived in many states.

Sue made her home in Idaho Falls, where she worked as a Sterile Tech at EIRMC. She was non-denominational Christian and attended Watersprings Church. Sue was sober for over 30 years and was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous. She enjoyed crafting, crocheting and loved to collect angels.

Sue is survived by her son, Carl (CJ) Vandermeulen of Shoshoni, WY; daughter, Joy Rhoads of Twin Falls, ID; brother, Dusty (Dee) Rhoads of Gillette, WY; bother, Jim (Peggy (deceased)) Rhoads of Casper, WY; sister, Marie (Carl (deceased)) Hippe of Everson, WA; sister, Shirley (Larry) Lay of Riverton, WY; 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Smokey Rhoads; mother, Alice May (Art) Shanley; brother, Ted Rhoads; and son, Johnny Darrell Harding.

Services will be held at a later date.
