DORIS M. SOUTHWICK IDAHO FALLS, ID - Doris Marie Jennings Southwick, 80, of Idaho Falls, died September 15, 2003, at her home. She was born December 23, 1922 at Iona, to Edwin Lawrence Jennings and Rosanna Denning Jennings. She grew up and attended schools in the area, graduating from Idaho Falls High School. She later attended a local business school. On October 30, 1942, she married Roy L. Southwick in Las Vegas, Nevada. Their marriage was solemnized on January 17, 1951, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She followed Roy for 3 1/2 years while he was in the Army Air Force during World War II. She worked as a business manager for Oral Health Center, an accountant for Sacred Heart Hospital, and retired as an office manager for Local Idaho Labors Union. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was active in her faith. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and various hobbies. Doris especially loved taking care of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Surviving are: Husband: Roy Southwick, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Sandra (A.J.) Arave, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Wayne (Marlene) Southwick, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Kim Southwick, Idaho Falls, ID Son: David (Chris) Southwick, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Debra (Wendell) Hill, Boise, ID 10 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and 5 sisters. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Hospice of Eastern Idaho for the kind and loving care they gave Doris. The family requests donations be made to Hospice of Eastern Idaho, 1920 East 17th Street, Idaho Falls, ID 83404. uneral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 19, 2003, at the Idaho Falls LDS 28th Ward (1165 Azalea), with Bishop Cleo Geddes officiating. The family will meet with friends beginning at 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Ammon Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave., Idaho Falls, ID
