Doris Williamson Selfridge, 92, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away January 22, 2012, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Doris was born March 7, 1919, in Joliet, Illinois, to Leslie Williamson and Florence Simpson Williamson. She grew up in Joliet and graduated from Joliet High School. She also attended Joliet Junior College briefly.
She married Robert L. Selfridge in Joliet, Illinois. Doris was a wife, mother, and homemaker. She moved to Idaho Falls five years ago to live with her daughter and family.
Doris was a member of the Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed making handmade greeting cards and loved working outdoors in her yard.
Doris is survived by her:
Daughter, Debra (James) Abens of Idaho Falls, ID;
Son, Timothy (Joyce) Selfridge of Joliet, IL;
Sister-in-law: Maureen (McCann) Selfridge, Vernon Hills, IL
Sister, Joyce Leas of New Lenox, IL;
6 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two sons, Gregory Selfridge and Mark Selfridge.
