DORIS M. MORRIS IDAHO FALLS, ID - Doris M. Fowler Morris, 85, of Idaho Falls, died May 22, 2003, at the Lincoln Court Retirement Community. She was born June 4, 1917 in Moran, Kansas to Roy E. Cook and Leota Best Cook. She grew up and attended schools in Moran. Following graduation, she earned her bachelor's degree in education. On October 14, 1938, she married Homer Fowler in Selena, Kansas. He preceded her in death In 1980. In February of 1987, she married Winston Morris in St. George, Utah. She taught elementary school in the Idaho Falls area until retiring in 1980. She was a member of the Henrietta Chapter of Eastern Star and the Retired Teachers Association. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed reading, music, golf and traveling. In her later years, she especially enjoyed her association with the staff and many friends she made at Lincoln Court Retirement Community. Surviving are: Son: Ronald Fowler, Las Vegas, NV Son: Richard (Shawna) Fowler, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Kathy (Keith) Hanchett, Ogden, UT 9 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both husbands, 1 brother, and 1 sister. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2003, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge). The family will meet with friends for one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave., Idaho Falls, ID.
