Donnetta Lavera Littleford Kelley, 53, formerly of Idaho Falls, passed away June 23, 2015 at Bailey-Boushay Care Center in Seattle, Washington.
She was born August 6, 1961, in Holbrook, Arizona, to Golden Lawayne Littleford (1936-1998) and TheLora Vera Marble Littleford. Donnetta grew up in Flagstaff, Arizona. At the age of ten, her family moved to Idaho Falls. She had two younger brothers, Donald Lawayne Littleford and Henry Golden Littleford.
While working in a diner during her high school years, a friend introduced her to William Chris Goodwin. Shortly thereafter the two of them had a son, Jason Robert Littleford, and married two years later. Donnetta worked many jobs, sometimes two at a time, to make enough money to support herself and her child. She and Chris divorced a few years later. Along with being a mother, she was also an aunt to Jared Don Littleford, son of Donald, and also to Joshua J. Littleford and Cynthia Shalee Littleford, son and daughter to Henry.
Idaho Falls was never the place for her and after some 30 plus years in Idaho Falls she was finally able to break free. Once her son was married she felt it was time to move on to the next chapter in her life. She moved to the Seattle area, living with someone her family would never meet. They were able to travel the world, going to such places as Peru, Rome and a few different trips to Hawaii. This relationship didn’t last long and she was left yet with another dilemma, move back to Idaho or stay. She decided to stay and moved to a small mobile home park in Snohomish, Washington. She had two failed marriages, but many loves in her life. She loved traveling, photography, reading, and spending time with her two grandchildren.
Donnetta frequently visited Idaho Falls to see her two grandchildren, Triton Duke Littleford (8 years old) and Quinn Reese Littleford (5 years old), children of Jason Robert Littleford and Sheri Danette Miles Littleford. Her grandchildren were always in her thoughts and she never missed sending birthday or Christmas gifts to them, even while battling breast cancer. Frank Peters (her fiancee) was there for the last eight years, helping her move from Seattle to Snohomish, and was holding her hand at her bedside until the very end.
