Donna Mae King Wilson, 81, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away September 21, 2015, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
Donna was born November 4, 1933, in Miles City, Montana, to Peter James King and Lucille Mae Koepnick King. Donna lived in New York, California, Wyoming, Montana and Idaho. She graduated from high school in Idaho.
In 1951, she married Leroy Mitchell and they were blessed with four kids, Vicki, Debbi, Steve and Dennis. Donna and Leroy were later divorced. In 1959, Donna married Bennie Wilson and they were blessed with two more children, David and Diane. Donna made her home in Idaho Falls, where she's resided for the last forty years.
Donna was a member of the Lutheran Church. She enjoyed yard work, gardening and flowers. Donna loved traveling with her sisters and spending time with her entire family.
Donna is survived by her
daughter, Vicki (Stephen) Lansford of Pocatello, ID,
daughter, Debbi (Philip Hughes) Christensen of Spanaway, WA,
son, Steve (Debra) Mitchell of Snoqualmie, WA,
son, David (Renee) Wilson of Idaho Falls, ID,
daughter, Diane Safford of Idaho Falls, ID,
brother, James (Susan) King of Rawlins, WY,
16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucille and James; four sisters, Carol, Dorothy (her twin), Pat, and Betty; her brother, Bobby; her grandson, Bum Christensen, and her son, Dennis Mitchell.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2015 at at Fielding Memorial Park, 4602 South Yellowstone Highway, Idaho Falls, with dinner to follow.
