Donna Dean (Whitehead) Case

Donna Dean Case, 76, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 8, 2024, at her home. She was under the care of Brio Hospice. Special thank you to the owner, Cory, and her nurse, Anjula.

Donna was born July 5, 1947, in Newton, Massachusetts, to Donald Dean Whitehead and Henrietta Skillings Whitehead. She grew up and attended schools in Newton, Massachusetts, and graduated college in Massachusetts for her RN in the late 70's.

On November 26, 1985, she married John Douglas Case in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Donna and John made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Donna worked as a Registered Nurse for Valley Care Center, Good Samaritan, State Hospital South and EIRMC. She served in the United States Army Nursing Corp during the Vietnam War.

She enjoyed reading, golfing, camping, rafting, pugs, going to Jackpot, Nevada, and her family.

Donna is survived by her husband, John Douglas Case of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Scott (Jennifer) Parkinson of Orange, MA; son, Donald (Heather) Rando of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Matthew (Shanna) Rando of Cummings, GA; brother, Paul (Norma) Whitehead of TN; sister, Janice Barisano of MA; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Henrietta Whitehead; and brother, Steven Whitehead.

A gathering will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road.
