Donna Syme

DONNA SYME IDAHO FALLS, ID - Donna Syme, 78, of Idaho Falls, died June 10, 2003, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was born March 30, 1925 in Deseret, Utah to Marion Albert Craft and Nina LaVern Conk Craft. She grew up and attended schools in Deseret, then moved to Ruth, Nevada and graduated from White Pine High School in Ely, Nevada. She married James DeVere Syme June 8, 1942 in Eureka, Nevada. They have lived in Idaho Falls since 1957. Besides being a homemaker, she worked as a grocery clerk and as a school cook. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, golfing, baking, sewing, reading and gardening. Surviving are: Husband: James Syme, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Nancy (Gordon) Hiatt, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Dale (Sandy) Crafts, Topeka, KS 6 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren, and one Great Great Grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Stanley James Syme and a great granddaughter, Kikiko Baird. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 16, 2003, at the Deseret Cemetery in Deseret, Utah.
