Donna Delores (James) Hammer

Donna Delores Hammer, 98, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away June 24, 2024.

Donna was born January 16, 1926, In Heyburn, Idaho, to William Earl James and Estella Olga Pullman James. She grew up and attended schools in Heyburn and graduated from Heyburn High School.

On June 30, 1946, she married Carlis Weldon Hammer in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and had four children. Donna was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1968.  It was the main focus of her life after that.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Shirley Hedenstrom (Pete) of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Steve Hammer (Miste) of Idaho falls, ID; grandchildren, Ryan Hammer (Jessica), Teri Wright (Tige), Brandon Hammer, and Robbie Hammer of Idaho Falls, ID, Julia Hunick (Cody) of Levi, UT, Nicole Hammer of Midvale, UT, and HaleyVaughn (Joel) of Eugene, OR.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William James and Stella Duffy; sister, Melba James; husband, Carlis Hammer; and her sons, Terry Hammer and Kenny Hammer.

A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1480 Jefferson Avenue, Idaho Falls, Idaho.
