Donna Nelson Fowler

DONNA FOWLER IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Donna Mae Nelson Fowler, 84, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 7, 2006, at Life Care Center. She was born June 24, 1922, in Jackson, Wyoming, to Leon Nelson and Verna Ellen Sinclair Nelson. She grew up and attended schools in the Victor area. She married LeRoy Franklin Fowler April 17, 1942, in Pocatello, Idaho, and to this union four children were born. They were later divorced. She worked in the potato processing industry for many years. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and she enjoyed reading and sewing. Survivors include: Daughter: Sherry (Peter) Kinne, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Linda Fowler, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Terry Fowler, Las Vegas, NV Sister: Marva Sperry, Idaho Falls, ID Sister: Evelyn (Erwin) Crane, Fort Hall, ID Sister: Colleen (Dean) Smart, OR 7 Grandchildren & 8 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Dan. Private Family Services. Burial will be in the Lincoln Cemetery. That would have been nice for you to be able to take care of her while she was there. I know I appreciated all that you did for my mom while she was at Life Care. I hope you are doing ok, it seems to take a while after the funeral for the reality of their passing to become real for you or at least that is the way it was for me. It has been two years this September that my mom died and I still think of her so often, in some way, usually with just little things that remind me of her. I know I said I would call you for lunch and try to get Elaine to come also - when I was visiting my mom at Life Care a couple of years ago - but I would really like to connect again with you and Elaine, so I will contact you this next year if that is ok with you.
