Donna Jean "D.J." (Dickerson) Park

Donna Jean "D.J." Park, 75, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 13, 2024, at her home.

Donna was born October 16, 1948, in Logan, Utah, to Carl Arthur Dickerson and Geneve Jean Oberhansley Dickerson. She grew up and attended schools in Wellsville, Utah, and also attended BYU.

On February 14, 1986, she married John Stewart Park in Logan, Utah. Donna and John made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Donna worked as an entrepreneur.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and an active member of Toast Masters. She enjoyed playing and composing music on the piano, acting in local plays, tv, and movies, golf, fishing, and Friends for Learning.

Donna is survived by her husband, John Stewart Park of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Jennifer Blair of Jacksonville, FL; son, Jason (Stephanie) Thady of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Brian John “BJ” Thady of Jacksonville, IL; son, Johnny Park of Huntington Beach, CA; daughter, Jessica (Roy) Monroe of Sevierville, TN; son, Christopher Park of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Amanda (Murry) Gibson of Taylorsville, UT; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Dickerson; mother, Geneve Dickerson; father, Ted Henry; mother, Lorene Henry; and brother, Carl Arthur Dickerson.

A celebration of her life will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Idaho Falls St. Leon Ward, 6925 North 15th East, with Jerry Petersen officiating.
