Donald Yeary

Donald Allen Yeary, 70, of Ammon, Idaho, passed away January 19, 2018, at his home. He was under the care of Solace Hospice.

Donald was born September 15, 1947, in Portland, Oregon, to David Yeary and Laverne Hess Yeary. He was raised by his mother and step-father, Lloyd Foster. He grew up and attended schools in Jackson, Wyoming. He also attended Eastern Idaho Technical College.

In September 1968, he married Marsha Ann Jones in Jackson, Wyoming. To this union were born two sons, Daniel and Erick. Donald was a military police officer and Staff Sergeant and served in the Vietnam War with the United States Army. Donald and Marsha made their home in Ammon, Idaho, after his retirement.

He enjoyed fly fishing, tying flies, and spending time with people.

Donald is survived by his son, Erick Allen Yeary of Ammon, ID; and brothers, Robert Yeary of Red Wing, MN and Dennis Yeary of Big Piney, WY.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marsha Yeary, his parents, and son, Daniel Yeary.

Passed away on
