DONALD L. WATSON
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Donald L. Watson, 70, of Idaho Falls, died December 14, 2005, at his home from a lingering illness.
He was born December 1, 1935, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Elmer M. Watson and Marlene Twyford Watson. He graduated from High School in Fort Hays, Kansas, then attended Kansas State College, Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, and Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. He served in the U. S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict.
He married Sharon Ann Shriner August 23, 1958 in Wakeeny, Kansas. He has worked as an Area
Manager for the Bureau of Land Management.
He was a member of the Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, river rafting, flying, mountain climbing and fighting forest fires.
He is survived by:
Wife: Sharon A. Watson of Idaho Falls, ID
Daughter: Leigh A. (Carl) Christensen of Phoenix, AZ,
Daughter: Lynn M. (Ken) Jernberg of Idaho Falls, ID
and 3 grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2005, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue, in Idaho Falls.
The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to services Saturday at the Wood Funeral Home.
