Donald Quass - 01/30/2002 Donald Quass - 01/30/2002 DONALD C. QUASS Donald Christian Quass, 71, of Pinole, California, died January 25, 2002 at Doctor’s Medical Center in San Pablo, California. He was born on December 20, 1930 at Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. He served for seven years in the U. S. Air Force. He married Marilyn Gerrard in 1955. He worked for 55 years as a baker with Wonder Bread in Emeryville, California and several other local bakeries. He was a Little League Coach in the Pinole-Hercules baseball league from 1964 until the early 70's. He enjoyed fishing until a stroke in 1992 made it almost impossible, and loved spending time with his grandchildren; Douglas Q., Heather Leigh, and Erica Lynn Clements of Klamath Falls, Oregon and Diandra Catherine and Delani Dawn Quass of Oroville, California. Surviving are:Wife: Marilyn Quass, Pinole, CASon: Donald C. Quass, Jr., Oroville, CASon: Malvern “Jerry” Gerrard Quass, Coeur 'd Alene, IDDaughter: Kimberli (Dwayne) Clements, Klamath Falls, ORSister: Karen Rosser, NJ 5 Grandchildren. Graveside Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2002 at the Taylor Cemetery. The family will meet with friends on Friday from 6-7:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home.
