DONALD PRICE IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Donald Louis Price, 76, of Idaho Falls, died April 11, 2006, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of natural causes. He was born July 10, 1929, in Mackay, Idaho, to Orlia Louis and Melba Sorensen Price. He spent his early years and was educated in Darlington and Mackay areas. He served in the Army from 1950 to 1952, having seen combat in the Korean War. Upon his discharge from the Army, he met and married Myrna Hutton on January 30, 1954. They lived in Arco and he worked for Westinghouse Electric until his retirement in 1987, when they moved to Idaho Falls, where he worked at Broadway 66, Weston Inn, and for Idaho Falls School District 91. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed camping and snowmobiling, and was active in the Butte County Search and Rescue for many years. Don’s greatest pleasure in life was spending time with his grandchildren, Shanda, Jeremy, Brittney, Brecken, Brook, Bryndee, great-grandson Kage, and great granddaughter Arianna. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Myrna Price, Idaho Falls; children, Meril L. Price of Ogden, Utah, Carol Doherty, Kenny R. Price, and JoAnn (Rick) Waldron, all of Idaho Falls; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Maxine Wardle, a brother, Robert E. Price; and a son, Steven K. Price. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 15, 2006, at the Idaho Falls LDS Central Stake Center (2025 Jennie Lee Drive). The family will visit with friends Friday from 7-9 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) in Idaho Falls.
