Donald Roy Moore

Donald Roy Moore, 64, of Ammon, passed away December 15, 2023, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was an organ donor and his cornea were donated.

Don was born September 1, 1959, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Claire Moore and Peggy Joyce Landon Moore. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls, including Hawthorne Elementary and O.E. Bell. Don had a nickname when he was younger, “Lurch.”

He and Cynthia Martin met in the 6th grade, started a relationship in 1981, and have been together ever since. He helped raise her two children. Don and Cynthia made their home in Ammon, Idaho, where Don worked as a tire mechanic for more than 20 years.

He enjoyed camping, fishing, building model cars, and listening to loud music while barbequing. He loved his dogs.

Don is survived by his girlfriend, Cynthia Martin of Ammon, ID; daughter, Misty (Jason) Vielma of Ammon, ID; son, C.J. (Crista Neff) Martin of Roberts, ID; brother, Bryon (Lisa) Moore of Shelley, ID; brother, Kevin (Cheryl) Moore of Idaho Falls; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Private family services will be held.
