DONALD R. MONSON
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Donald Ralphs Monson, 77, passed away July 21, 2007 at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls of natural causes.
He was born April 2, 1928 in Glendale, California, to Stanley Thomas Monson and Verde Marion Ralphs Monson. He lived most of his life in the Glendale and Burbank, California, areas. He served in the Air Force for seven years from 1954 to 1961 with an Honorable Discharge. Two years of his military service he was stationed in Japan, with the 661st Radar Squadron (SAGE).
After returning from the service he worked at the same company as his father, Foremost Dairy as a delivery person. One of his routes was to Universal Studio's and other Hollywood places. He worked for the Santa Monica transportation department as a Bus Driver, a job that he really liked. Due to health reasons, Don was forced to retire when he was 50 years old. He and his twin sister, Dorothy, moved to Idaho Falls in 1992 to be near their mother's home town of Rockland.
Don was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed transferring all of his pictures to video tapes set to music.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, his brother Reed, and his twin sister Dorothy.

Private family services will be held. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Park, San Fernando, California.
