Dolores Marie Martinez

Dolores Marie Martinez, 72, of Idaho Falls, passed away September 23, 2024, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Dolores was born April 13, 1952, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Manuel A. Martinez and Anna Veronica Ford Martinez. She grew up and attended schools in Southwest Philadelphia, and graduated from John Bartram High School.

She married Steve Stamper. They were later divorced.

Dolores worked in the culinary profession as a pantry cook in Las Vegas, Nevada, for more than 20 years.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved to dance, hike, be around her family, and be in the outdoors.

Dolores is survived by her daughter, Gloria (Joshua) Yocum of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Pamela Stamper of Eagle Mountain, UT; daughter, Elissa (Paris Clark) Stamper of Eagle Mountain, UT; sister, Anna Pugliese of Sun City, AZ; brother, Robert Martinez of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Lisa Wagman of Kellyville, OK; brother, Paul Martinez of New York City, NY; 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Anna and Manuel Martinez; sister, Marie Kozak; grandmother, Elizabeth Ford; granddaughter, Jisselle Susanna Lugo.

A memorial luncheon was held at her daughters home on September 23, 2024.
