Dixie Lee (Mcvey) Keith

Dixie Lee Keith, 80, of Ammon, passed away June 16, 2021, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Dixie was born July 13, 1940, in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho, to Howard and Erma McVey. She grew up and attended schools in Swan Valley and graduated from Idaho Falls High School.

In April 1968, she married John Earl Hall in Las Vegas. They were later divorced.

She later married Larry Glenn Keith. Dixie and Larry made their home in Blackfoot, Idaho. Dixie worked as a office manager at K-mart for 42 years.

After retirement, she enjoyed gambling, reading, bowling, and spending time with her grandkids.

Dixie is survived by her loving son, Mitchell (Melynda) Hall of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Kim (Jerry) Gruver of Rigby, ID; daughter, Bridgette (Mark) Pettichord of Rigby, ID; daughter, Lisa (Gene) Standley of Idaho Falls, ID; 17 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry; and her siblings, Lew, Dot, Bunny, Vessa, Venna, Jean, Beth, and Larry; and 2 grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
