She was born October 4, 1927 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Albert Leander Burke and Elvina Docine Hansen Burke. She attended grade school in Iona, Idaho. She has lived in Everett, WA for 1 year, Greeley, CO for 2 years, South Carolina 4 months, ElPaso, TX for 6 months and Idaho Falls for the past 69 years. She married John Simpson Brown November 10, 1945 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She worked as a dishwasher, sorter, janitor and a laundress for White Star Laundry. She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping and traveling to new places. Surviving are:Daughter: Carol A. FUNERAL SERVICESFuneral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 15, 2002, at Wood Chapel of the Pines, with Bishop Dean Arnoldson officiating. The family will visit with friends on Thursday, March 14, from 7-9:00 p.m. and for one hour prior to services on Friday. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls, Idaho 83402-4092.
