DIEGO VASQUEZ-CONTRERAS IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Diego Manuel Vasquez-Contreras, infant son of Manuel Miguel Vasquez and Mary Dolores Contreras, was stillborn February 18, 2006, in Idaho Falls. Surviving are: Mother: Mary Contreras of Idaho Falls, ID Father: Manuel Vasquez of Idaho Falls, ID Sister: Eliza Contreras of Idaho Falls, ID Grandmother: Helen Contreras Great Grandfather: Frank Contreras, Sr. He was preceded in death by a brother, Dylan, grandmother, Margaret Lopez, grandfather, Frank Contreras, Jr., and Great Grandmother, Margie Contreras. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 24, 2006, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) with a Deacon from Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church officiating. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the services at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home. Gina meant a lot to me in my youth. She was like an older sister to me. She taught me how to put on eyeliner, shave my legs, and of course boys. I have many great memories of her letting me follow her and I'm sure at times annoy her more than a next door neighbor should. I will miss her.
