Dick And Dessie Starnes

Dick Stames (May 29, 1929-May 15, 2017) & Dessie Starnes (October 8, 1927-February 1, 2019) were married January 20, 1951 in Sunny Vale, California. From this 66-year union they had two daughters, Patty (Willie) Earle of Challis, ID & Bobbie (John) Soles of Idaho Falls, ID, 5 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. Dick served a four-year term in the Navy and was honorably discharged March 11, 1952. Dessie was a home-maker, wife, and loving mother. They resided in Buell, Idaho until the purchase of Commons Poultry, when they moved the business to Idaho Falls. They built two successful businesses working side by side and hand in hand. Dick finally retired in 2011. They loved their family and enjoyed having family gatherings. Their relationship was very special and an example of love to all that had the privilege to meet them. They will be dearly missed. There will be a celebration of life on August 17, 2019. We are thankful they are reunited and two-stepping across heaven. This isn't goodbye, just a see you later.
