Dianna Marie Blair Snarr, 77, of Idaho Falls, passed away peacefully July 31, 2013, at her home. Dianna was born August 30, 1935, in Salem, Oregon, to Richard Eugene Blair and Dorothy Vivian Brothers Blair. She grew up and attended schools in Portland, Oregon, and graduated from Franklin High School. On June 19, 1954, she married Delmar K “Kay” Snarr in Portland, Oregon. They made their home on the west side of Idaho Falls while raising their five children, Ray, Warren, Teresa, Denise, and Pamela. She was a wife, mother, homemaker and also worked as a prep cook at Smitty’s Restaurant. Kay passed away October 28, 2012. Dianna was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She spent many of those years as a nursery leader. She loved crocheting, knitting, doing puzzles and visiting her family. Dianna is survived by Son, Ray Snarr of Idaho Falls, ID; Son, Warren Snarr of Idaho Falls, ID; Daughter, Teresa (Garth) Tietjen of Los Alamos, NM; Daughter, Denise (Thomas) Williams of Lewistown, MT; Brother, Richard Eugene Blair Jr. of Gresham, Oregon; 6 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a daughter, Pamela Jean Snarr. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 9, 2013, at the Idaho Falls LDS Osgood Ward, 7940 North 35th West, with Bishop Brad Reed officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10-10:45 a.m prior to services. Burial will be in the Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
