Dianna Kay Robison

Dianna Kay Robison, 81, of Idaho Falls, passed away from a heart aneurism April 19, 2023, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Dianna was born November 19, 1941, in Osgood, Idaho, to Earl Charles "Windy" Robison and Hilda Eugenia Anderson Robison. She grew up in the New Sweden area of Idaho Falls, attended New Sweden School, and later earned her GED.

Dianna waitressed at several restaurants in Idaho Falls, including the old Bair's Cafe, where the regulars called her Flo after the sassy waitress in the 1970s sitcom. She operated a candy store in downtown Idaho Falls. While open for just a short time, her family enjoyed her Christmas candy-making magic throughout the years, even up to this last Christmas.

Dianna worked for the Joshua D Smith Foundation for 30 years, taking care of clients, scheduling, and other bookwork. She cared deeply for the clients, holding them close to her heart. She did not retire until forced to by health issues. Still, in the last few months, she took great joy in resuming baking cakes and cupcakes each month to celebrate client birthdays. Dianna is survived by her children, Debra Dawn Hamilton, Dianna Lee (Chuck) Huston, Robert Paul (Terri) Robinson, Kelly Kay (Spike) Patton, and Gregory D Robinson; 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Teri Lynn Storer, and siblings, Margaret Louise Thompson, Dorothy Alberta Stears, Harold Arthur Robison, Roszella Mae Robison, Armond Ray "Hoby" Robison, and Robert Earl Robison. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 28, 2023, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue. The family will visit with friends Thursday, April 27, 2023, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, and from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Both visitations at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in the New Sweden Cemetery.
