Click Here To View Memorial Video Diane Hammer, 60, of Idaho Falls, passed away October 1, 2013, at her home, surrounded by friends and family, from cancer. She was under the care of One Source Hospice. Diane was born June 18, 1953, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Rolland J Hammer and Helen Bean Hammer. She was life long resident and graduated from Skyline High School. She also attended Idaho State University. Diane made her home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where she worked as a waitress at Smitty's Pancake House for twenty-six years. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Diane loved attending family gatherings and especially spending time with her nieces and nephews. She loved animals, and enjoyed fishing and playing cards. Diane is survived by her sister, Betty (Vern) Kaaiakammanu of Rexburg, ID; sister, Pat (Ricky) Hollon of Idaho Falls, ID; brother Robert (Ronda) Hammer of Driggs, ID. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Janet Hammer. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 5, 2013, at Lincoln LDS 1st Ward, 3700 East Lincoln Road, with Bishop Kent Lott officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, and from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a memorial fund in her name at the Bank of Idaho. A special thanks to Yolanda, Brandy, Trevor, Margaret, and Linda for your loving kindness and care of Diane.

11 a.m. ,Saturday, October 5, 2013 Lincoln LDS 1st Ward 3700 E. Lincoln Road Idaho Falls, ID 83401 Notes: The family will visit with friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, and from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday prior to services at the church.
