Diana Lee Miner, age 70, of Idaho Falls, gracefully departed from this world on December 31, 2023, at Teton Healthcare of Cascadia, under the compassionate care of Aspen Hospice. Diana spent the majority of her life in Eastern Idaho, where she touched the hearts of many with her resilience, kindness, and unwavering love for her family.
Born with an adventurous spirit, Diana was blessed to explore the beauty of our country as a young woman, leaving lasting memories imprinted in her heart. However, her greatest joy came from the joys of motherhood. Diana cherished nothing more than her role as a devoted mother. She leaves behind a legacy of love and strength, survived by her three children, Sheean and his wife Elizabeth, Quinton, and Shana, and her four adoring grandchildren, Brookelyn, Coal, Lexus, and Lillian.
Diana dedicated many years of her professional life as a District Manager for the Post Register, contributing her skills to the community she called home. In addition to her role at the newspaper, she also ventured into teaching and various service jobs, all driven by her fierce determination to provide for her family.
Resilient and survivor - these two words encapsulate the essence of Diana's spirit. Throughout her life, she faced adversity and heartache, transforming each challenge into an opportunity for growth. Diana never allowed herself to be defined as a victim; instead, she embraced the title of survivor, a testament to her indomitable spirit.
Among her many accomplishments, one of the most significant was her selfless act of raising two of her grandchildren as her own. Diana's heart knew no bounds when it came to the wellbeing of her family.
In the later years, Diana faced health challenges, enduring a couple of strokes that she valiantly fought against. Despite her resilience, she slowly faded from this world, leaving behind a legacy of strength, courage, and unwavering love.
Funeral services to celebrate Diana's remarkable life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 15, 2023, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 24th Ward, 1155 1st Street, Idaho Falls, ID 83401. All who wish to pay their respects are welcome to join this commemoration of a life well-lived.
For those desiring to offer condolences, flowers can be purchased at The Rose Shop in Idaho Falls, ID.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Aspen Hospice, whose dedicated care brought comfort to Diana in her final days. The family is grateful for the love and support received during this difficult time.
Diana's spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, an enduring legacy of strength, love, and resilience. May she rest in eternal peace.
