Diana Lin Sargis, 61, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 3, 2014, at her home of natural causes.
Diana was born December 14, 1952, in Rigby, Idaho, to Wayne Palmer and Margaret Fullmer Palmer. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Bonneville High School.
On June 9, 1973, she married E. J. Sargis in Bonneville County, Idaho. Diana and E. J. made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Diana worked recently as a secretary for the city of Idaho Falls.
She was a member of the Elks Lodge, #1087. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren as well as reading, boating, camping, fishing, gardening and her kitty, Newt.

her loving husband of 40 years, E. J. Sargis of Idaho Falls, ID;
father, Wayne Palmer of Boise, ID;
step-daughter, Amy Sargis of Idaho Falls, ID;
son, Jeremy (Lindsay) Sargis of Coeur d'Alene, ID;
son, Chris (Amanda) Sargis of Boise, ID;
brother, Darwin (Terri) Palmer of Twin Falls, ID;
sister, Marlene (Larry) Stoffregan of Boise, ID;
and four grandchildren, Tayson, Zachary, Eno, and Ava.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret, mother-in-law, Bernice, brother, Monte, and step-daughter, Heidi.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at the Idaho Falls Elk's Lodge, 640 East Elva Street. A Celebration of Life will be held following the services, also at the Elk's Lodge. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue.
We lost an amazing mother, wife, sister, daughter, aunt, cousin, niece, grandmother, and most of all a friend. RIP Red, aka Mom.
