Click Here To View Memorial Video Diana “Jean” Fox, 61, of Idaho Falls, passed away October 25, 2015, at Teton Post Acute Care & Rehabilitation. Jean was born February 10, 1954, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Robert Milton Howarter and Lovell Norene Tharp Howarter. She was the second of four children. She grew up and attended schools in Pocatello and graduated from Highland High School in 1972. On May 20, 1979, she became a mom to her son, Robert “Rob” D. Howarter. Her daughter, Lamona “LaVern” Howarter was born on January 22, 1983. Jean set her roots in Idaho Falls in the Summer of 1990. She married Darwin B. Fox on February 12, 1990, in Idaho Falls. Jean was a loving mother, wife, and homemaker. She was a member of Living Waters/Church of God Prophecy in Pocatello, Idaho. She enjoyed fishing, camping, shopping, and spending time with her family. She loved watching her crime shows on television. In 2015, Jean was diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer, bone cancer, skin cancer, and she had three tumors; one in her back, and two in her head. Jean is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Darwin Fox of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Rob Howarter of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Lamona “LaVern” Norene Howarter of Idaho Falls, ID; mother, Lovell Norene Howarter of Pocatello, ID; sister, Julee Ellen Howarter of Pocatello, ID; one grandchild on the way. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Howarter; grandparents; Albert and Mona Tharp; Charles and Bee Leissring; Orval Howarter; sister, Mona Cile; and brother, Robert “Bobby” Howarter. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 30, 2015, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the funeral home.
