Diana Veronica Davis- DeMarc 78, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 27, 2023, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Diana was born January 26, 1945, in Idaho Falls Idaho, to Denzel Davis and Hazel Chryst Davis. She grew up and attended schools in Montana. She told many fond stories to her family of her childhood years and living on the farm and spending fun times with her 5 siblings and friends. Diana took a special interest in art as a young girl. She did many water color paintings and continued to create beautiful oil paintings throughout her life. Many of her friends and family will enjoy her talent for many years to come.
On August 17, 1962, she married Donald J McLeod and they started there family and shared 11 years in the Great Falls and East Glacier area. They divorced in 1973.
On March 9, 1974, she married Tommy L DeMarc in Kalispell, Montana. Shortly after, they were off on many adventures. Traveling with the military, they had the opportunity to take a post in Germany where they spent four years and continued to add to our family. The military took them on many adventures that she always cherished. When they retired from the military, they found there home in Idaho Falls to surround themselves with family and friends.
She loved spending time with her family and friends golfing, bowling, camping, boating, and playing games, especially card games. She loved watching basketball, especially if the Utah Jazz were playing. Any occasion was a cause for celebration and getting together.
She is survived by her son Troy McLead (Dianne) of Idaho Falls, ID; daughters, Kari Lynn Brady (Steve) of Idaho Falls ID, Lexie Nichol Blake (Jay) of Rigby, ID, and Lynette Violette of Sunderland MD; brother Denzel Davis of Mesa AZ; sisters, Peggy Prichard of Mesa, AZ, Becky Downs (Jay) of Big Piney, WY, and Saralee Howard (John) of Idaho Falls, ID; 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild; and her companion fur baby of 16 years, Sophie. She has many nieces and nephews and friends that she adored and had personal relationships with that brought her so much joy over the years.
She was preceded in death by her parents Denzel & Hazel Davis, son Matthew Wade DeMarc, son-in-law Kevin Vermeline (Kari), sister Lexie Hagar, ex-husband Donald J McLeod, Tommy L DeMarc, brother-in-law Dennis Prichard, nephew Dustin Prichard, and niece Crystal Prichard Bakke.
Family and friends will have a Celebration of Diana's Life on July 22, 2023.
