Dewayne "Dee" Andrew

DeWayne "Dee" Ralph Andrew, 82, of Menan, passed away March 17, 2019, at his home. He was under the care of his family and OneSource Hospice. Dee was born September 29, 1936, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Ralph Gibby Andrew and Alice A. Merrill Andrew. He grew up and attended schools in Menan and graduated from Rigby High School. He also attended University of Idaho where he received his Bachelor’s Degree. On November 11, 1966, he married Thelma "Tee" Lillian Downing in the Salt Lake City Utah Temple. To this union were born three sons, Scott, Jeff, and Mark. Dee and Tee made their home in Menan, where Dee worked as a controller for Suburban Propane. He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings including temple officiator at the Idaho Falls Temple. Among his many interests were farming, horses, guns, and photography. His greatest joy was his family and he dedicated his life to his wife, children and grandchildren. Dee is survived by his son, Scott Dee (Kristin) Andrew of Mesa, AZ; son, Jeff David Andrew of Menan, ID; son, Mark Reed (Danielle) Andrew of Menan, ID; sister, Sally Wagoner of Idaho Falls, ID; and 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a brother, Lynn Andrew, and a sister, Maxine Andrew.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2019, at the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
