Devrie Jo Freeman Guymon, 57, of Ammon, passed away March 17, 2025, at her home, following a battle with renal carcinoma. She was under the care of Brio Home Health and Hospice and her loving family.
Devrie was born May 12, 1967, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Micheal Ray Freeman and DeLila Lorayne Covington Freeman. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Skyline High School. She also attended Columbia Southern University where she earned her Bachelors Degree.
On August 20, 1988, she married Daniel Lynn Guymon in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Devrie and Daniel made their home in Ammon, Idaho, where Devrie worked as a Realtor and entrepreneur.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Devrie enjoyed online e-commerce, scrap booking, traveling, party planning, camping and UTV rides with her family and friends.
Devrie is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Daniel Lynn Guymon of Ammon, ID; father, Micheal Ray (Leslee) Freeman; son, Ethan (Ashley) Guymon of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Hailee Guymon of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Preston Guymon of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Mikki (Raymond) Williams of Hamer, ID; brother, Kris (Courtney) Freeman of Idaho Falls, ID; and brother, Jeramie (Sherry) Freeman of Idaho Falls, ID.
She was preceded in death by her mother, DeLila Lorayne Freeman; and sister, Holly Ann Freeman.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 21, 2025, at Stone Arbor Ward, 4459 John Adam Parkway, with Bishop Neil Price of the Ammon 16th Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, and Friday from 10-10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
