Devin Mason

Devin Harris Mason, 39, of Ririe, passed away October 14, 2011, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center from a massive stroke. Devin was born October 22, 1971, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Sylvan LaMar Mason and Karon Marie Harris. He grew up in the Rexburg and Inkom areas. He attended Marsh Valley High School and later received his GED. He married Lynda Moon and they later divorced. Devin worked in the construction industry doing drywall and plastering. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Survivors include his mother, Karon Marie McGary of Idaho Falls, ID; his father, Sylvan LaMar Mason of Egin, ID; a brother, Glade (Audra) Mason of Rexburg ID; and a sister, Karina Mason Hensley of Pocatello, ID. Devin was preceded in death by his grandparents and his stepfather, Kent McGary. A Celebration of Life for everyone that knew him will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday, October 21, 2011, at the Ririe Senior Citizen Center, 325 Main Street, Ririe, Idaho, 84334.
