Derold Coles, 79, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 25, 2013, at The Gables Assisted Living Center. He was born August 17, 1933, to Leroy Benjamin Coles and Cora Veda Ellis Coles. He graduated from Ucon High school. He lived in Idaho Falls his whole life and worked in construction in Washington, Wyoming, Utah, and Idaho, and later owned D & B Construction. He married Beverly Joan Munro on January 31, 1951. Derold loved his work. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, home projects and being around his family. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had held various positions and callings in the church. Derold is survived by his wife, Beverly of Idaho Falls, ID; Son, Lynn (Susan) Coles of Las Vegas, NV; Son, Roger (Cindy) Coles of Idaho Falls; ID; Son, Blake (Tracy) Coles of Idaho Falls, ID; Brothers, Reed (Inez) Coles, of Salt lake City, UT; Brother, Gary (Kay) Coles of Milo, ID; Brother, Brent (Roseann) Coles of Nampa, ID; Sister, Beverly (Mike) Stoker of Meridian, ID; 24 Grandchildren and 34 Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his sister, Arlene Remington, and a son, Randy Coles. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 1, 2013, at the Idaho Falls LDS Kearney 1st Ward, 1860 Kearney, with Bishop Gregg Johnson officiating. The family will visit with friends 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, nd from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be in the Milo Cemetery.

The family will visit with friends 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday January 31 at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge Ave.) and 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church
