Deola Westover - 04/20/2002 Deola Westover - 04/20/2002 DEOLA WESTOVER IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Mary Deola Cox Westover, 89, of Idaho Falls, died April 19, 2002, at the home of her daughter, Darlene Jackson. She was born March 20, 1913 to Dennis J. Cox and Mary Ann Cutler Cox in Blackfoot. She grew up and attended schools in the area, graduating from Blackfoot High School. She married Leland Floyd Westover on April 30, 1947 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed painting, music, playing the violin, singing, doing crafts, and loved animals. Surviving are:Son: Dennis H. ( Rebecca S.) Westover, TXDaughter: Darlene (James E. “Buzz”) Jackson, Idaho Falls, IDDaughter: Marilee (Mark R.) Morris, CA 13 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland; a sister, Thelma Cox Dye; and a grandson, Nicholas Raymond Morris. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2002, at THE Wood Chapel of the Pines, with Bishop Lyman Dye of the Ucon LDS 2nd Ward officiating. The family will meet with friends for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Grove City Cemetery in Blackfoot under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
