Dennis Tucker

Dennis Golden Tucker, 69, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 5, 2017, at his home. He was under the care of Avalon Hospice.

Dennis was born October 24, 1947, in Rockmart, Georgia, to Orlin Golden Tucker and Daisy L. Chafin Tucker. He grew up and attended schools in Georgia and graduated from American Academy High School.

Dennis worked as a janitor and maintenance man for Winco Foods.

He was a Christian. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, working on cars and trucks, wood working, and doing puzzles.

Dennis is survived by his son, Barney Tucker of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Casey Tucker Pogue; son, Lenny M. Tucker-Curtis; girlfriend, Polly Young; sister, Margaret Tucker; brother, Jackie Tucker; and 3 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Pete Tucker.

A gathering will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 14, 2017, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue.
