Dennis Thornley

Seldon “Dennis” Thornley, 79, of Las Vegas, NV, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on October 10, 2015. Dennis was born in Smithfield, UT to Seldon and Beth Thornley. He grew up in Idaho Falls, ID. He attended the University of Utah where he received his B.S. Throughout his career he worked as a computer peripheral salesman in various areas of the U.S. After retirement he dedicated his life to helping those with alcohol addiction by managing several recovery homes as well as performing service work in Las Vegas, NV. Dennis is survived by his son, Kevin Thornley and wife, Cyndi Thornley of Santa Ana, CA; daughter Cindy Przybocki and husband John Przybocki, Jr. of Frederick, MD; his grandchildren, Trevor, Kyle, Christine, Josh, Seth, Jacob and Sarah and brother Jay Thornley and Tracey Taylor of Idaho Falls, ID. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Helen Thornley Nuttall. The family would like to give a special thanks to the Fellowship of A.A. for the love and help they provided to Dennis and his family. We thank God for the gift of his life and the blessing of the time we spent with him. Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, November 6, 2015, at Wood Funeral Home East Side (963 S. Ammon). The family will visit with friends on Friday from 1-1:30 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park.
