Dennis Lynn Humphries

Dennis Lynn Humphries, 44, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 15, 2021, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Dennis was born July 4, 1976, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Delbert Lynn Humphries and Velma Jean Miller Humphries, the 4th and last child.

Dennis was blessed with a large and caring heart but also some challenges in his life. Dennis attended schools in Pocatello thru the special education system. He graduated from Highland High School.  Dennis moved to Idaho Falls, to be near his family and friends. He met his girlfriend Gloria Penhollow and was with her until his passing.

Dennis loved his brothers and cared for his mother after his fathers passing. Dennis loved camping, fishing, his moms dog and cat. He also loved old cars and car shows, like his dad and brothers.

Dennis is preceded in death by his father, D. Lynn Humphries; his paternal grandparent's, Bud and Gwen Humphries; and his maternal grandparent's, W.D. Del and Jean A. Miller; uncle, Donald W. Miller; and aunt, Diana Evans.

Dennis is survived by his mother, Velma Jean Humphries; brother, Alan Lynn Humphries and  children, Denny (Ashley) Humphries, Max (Cannon McAfee) Humphries; brother, Robert Wayne (Becky) Humphries and children, Kaley (Tommy) Broadfield, Jessica (Kyler) Gardner, Joshua Humphries;  brother, Gary Phillip (Misty) Humphries and children, Paige Humphries, Preston Humphries, Holden Humphries; uncle, Dr. Robert “Bob” J. (Pat) Miller; nieces and nephews, Barbara (Pete) Matthews, Janet (Chris) Kolste, Debbie (Kurt) Rashall, Bill (Nicole) Miller, Doug (Jenny) Miller, and Jim (Britanie) Miller; and girlfriend, Gloria Penhollow.

A gathering will be held from 4:00 - 6:30 p.m. on Monday, June 21, 2021, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue in Idaho Falls.
