FREEMAN IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Dennis Mark Freeman, 50, of Idaho Falls, died February 1, 2003, at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, of an extended illness. He was born December 5, 1952, at Blackfoot, Idaho, to Mark James Freeman and Sylvia Mary McNeil Freeman. He grew up in Ririe and attended schools there. He also attended Idaho State University. He served in the U. S. Army from 1971 to 1974. He married Kathleen Mary Hughes November 12, 1976, at Elko, Nevada. They made their home in Idaho Falls, where he has worked as a biomedical engineer at the hospital and worked for Bechtel with cranes and engineering. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served as a past President of the Russet Lions Club. He loved children and loved being a foster parent. He enjoyed his grandchildren, Cade Allen and Morgan Jade. Memorial Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2003, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines, 273 North Ridge, with Bishop Steve Hunter of the Idaho Falls LDS 24th Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends for two hours prior to the services at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls, ID 83402-4092 .
