DENNIS BALSEWICZ
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Dennis Stanley Balsewicz, 62, died August 30, 2006, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, Idaho Falls, Idaho.
He was born November 23, 1943, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Stanley John Balsewicz and Lillian Grace Bradgon Balsewicz. He served in the U. S. Air Force from 1960-1964 and was stationed at Kirkland Air Force Base in New Mexico as a B-52 mechanic.
He married Brenda in Albuquerque, New Mexico, November 23, 1962. They were married for 25 years before divorcing. He worked as a carpenter, and at the time of his illness he was employed by the Eastern Idaho Community Action Partnership, where he took pride in doing maintenance and repair work at EICAP's main office and at the senior housing properties where he was always willing to respond to any after hours or weekend emergencies.
He loved his grandchildren, Chris's children, Terra Ann, Christopher Errol, and Antoinette's children, Kaysie Marie and Heather Reneé. He enjoyed horse racing, music, playing cards and pool, bowling and fishing.
He is survived by:
Daughter: Antoinette Renee' (Michael) Gentilini, Albuquerque, NM
Son: Christopher (Michelle) Balsewicz, North Pole, AK
Sister: Rosemarie Goossens, WI
4 Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
Memorial Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 7, 2006, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to services at Wood Funeral Home.

When Dennis lived in Albuquerque he worked for me doing repairs and upkeep around my house. He was reliable and resourceful. He saw things that needed doing--and he did them. I've missed him since he left. Please accept my condolences on his passing.
