We appreciated Ms. Glore as a friend and colleague in an outpost far away from DOE HQ. We hope that her family and friends will find solace in all their good memories.

For several years I've enjoyed working with Denise on many projects. She was a fabulous woman and a first-class humanitarian. We shared a love for animals and for this planet. I will always remember the time she brought that baby flying squirrel to work, because it needed her warmth and care. It contentedly perched inside her collar underneath her hair all day while she went about with her routine work. "Denise, you have a flying squirrel on your neck," I said with surprise after noticing the little critter five minutes into a conversation. "Shhhhhsh," Denise replied with a smile! For that one act of kindness alone, I know that the Great Spirit has sent Denise to someplace good!

Gordon,
I am so sorry for your loss! I'm also mad. Denise had just really found herself and was so happy with making her beads/jewelry and everyone coming to the Dancing Dog. Everyone loved her. She was such a wonderful person. I had just joked with her on Monday at work. It was such a shock to hear of her passing. I wanted her to be able to retire and pursue all the wonderful things she wanted to do. I met you at the Art In the Park a year ago, when you had your tent and your dog (so cute!). I so appreciated her Tia Chi leadership and her class on self defense. I'm trying not to cry, but I will miss her dearly! My sympathy's go out to you and your family.

Gordon,
You are in our thoughts and prayers. It is so hard to believe that Sunday she was the most vibrant person I could ever meet and now she's gone. You both touched our lives in a way that not many people could. If you ever need anything at anytime you can always count on us. Pyper has been feeling the loss of Auntie Denise too. She will be missed.

Gordon,
Our deepest sympathies go out to you. Angela, Luke, and I remember all the good times we had with Denise and yourself learning Karate. It’s been many years, but the kids fondly remember you both. I have loved working with Denise on the SEB and other activities here at work and she is a joy. She always was so kind with my wood carvings. She will be and is greatly missed.
