Denice Colleen Taylor Stevens, 64, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 21, 2018, at her home. She was surrounded by loved ones in her last day and in her time of passing.
Denice was born April 16, 1954, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Miles David Taylor and JoAnn Hazel Kossman Taylor. She grew up and attended schools in the area and graduated from Bonneville High School. She used her Associate’s Degree from Idaho State University to become a substitute teacher to help influence young children. Her love of fashion led her to become a business owner of cosmetology. Later in life, she became a CNA and continued to help people in the community.
On December 11, 1975, she married Pete Stevens in Idaho Falls, Idaho. To this union were born three children, Charlie, Michael and Misty. Denice and Pete made their home in Idaho Falls, where Denice was a devoted mother and homemaker. Denice and Pete were later divorced.
Denice enjoyed being outside camping and loved spending time with her family. She always put everyone before herself.
Denice is survived by her son, Charlie Curtis Stevens of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Michael Taylor (Lori) Stevens of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Misty Nicole (Joshua) Hult of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Susie (Craig) Landon of Idaho Falls, ID; and 4 grandchildren, Cameron, Ryder, Berlyn and Roman.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Jill Muir.
