Delwyn Andrus

Delwyn J. Andrus, 61, of Idaho Falls, passed away May 11, 2016, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

He was born July 26, 1954, in Ucon, Idaho, to Marvin Frank Andrus and Dorthy Hellena Jones Andrus. He grew up and attended schools in the area, graduating from Rigby High School.

Delwyn worked as a handyman. He loved nature and enjoyed fishing and camping. He also loved driving and working on his car. Delwyn was there for others and would help anyone in need. He will be dearly missed by his family.

Survivors are: Son: Mike (Kelly) Andrus of Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Teresa (Austin) Howell of Idaho Falls, ID Sister: Delene Anderson of Shelley, ID Brother: Larry S. (Bernice) Andrus of Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Darrell A. (Anita) Andrus of Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Kay D. (Mary) Andrus of Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Marvin L. (Gaile) Andrus of Canada Brother: Aldon R. Andrus of American Falls, ID Sister: Rhonda (Martin) Sanchez of Idaho Falls, ID 3 grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents.

A gathering will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls.
