AGNES YOUNG
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Agnes B. Young, 87, of Idaho Falls,
died December 30, 2003, at her home.
She was born April 8, 1916, in Wellington, Utah, to Eugene
Elisha Branch, Jr. and Agnes Winnifred Liddell Branch. She attended schools
in Wellington. She also lived in Price, Utah for one year. She served
a Spanish-speaking LDS mission to Texas.
She married Leland Terry Young January 20, 1939 in the
Salt Lake LDS Temple. They have lived in Osgood, Idaho Falls, Burley,
Boise and in Salt Lake City, moving back to Idaho Falls in fall of 1997.
As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day
Saints, she has served as organist, music director and taught Primary,
Sunday School and Relief Society. She has served as a counselor in the
Mutual and Relief Society presidencies, and with her husband, served a
mission to the California, San Diego Mission.
She has worked for Slusser Wholesale and for the Burley,
Idaho Police Department. She enjoyed music, crocheting, knitting, cross-stitch
and reading.

Son: Amos DowRell (Melody) Young, Pocatello, ID
Daughter-in-law: Norma Young
24 Grandchildren, 38 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Kent Granger Young, one
brother and three sisters.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January
2, 2004, at the Idaho Falls North Stake Center, 955 Memorial Drive, with
Bishop David G. Holland of the Idaho Falls LDS 7th Ward officiating.
The family will visit with friends Thursday from 7-8:30
p.m., at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge, and Friday for one hour prior
to services at the church.
Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction
of Wood Funeral Home.
