Delles Bert Andrus

Delles Bert Andrus, 85, formerly of Lewisville, Idaho, passed away August 29, 2021, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Delles was born January 9, 1936, in Garfield, Idaho, to Jesse Dellas Andrus and Rose Ellen Atkinson Andrus. He attended Mackay, Rigby, and Alder Creek Elementary Schools, and graduated from Rigby High School.

Delles worked as a custodian, school bus driver for School District 55 for 45 years, and a truck driver for over 33 years.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in the National Guard from 1955 to 1960. He enjoyed buying and selling old school buses and traveling.

Delles is survived by his brother, Brent Andrus of Las Vegas, NV; his nieces, Heather and Sabrina Andrus; and his nephews, Spencer, Jason, and Jared Andrus, and David Gneiting.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Rose Andrus; sisters, Linda Jean Andrus and Sharon Moore; brother, Harold Dean Andrus; and nephew, William Andrus.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue in Idaho Falls. A visitation will be held prior from 9-9:45 a.m. Graveside services will be held at Grant-Central Cemetery, 165 North 3300 East in Grant, ID.
