DELLA STYHL
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Della Bybee Styhl, 103, of Idaho Falls, died December 30, 2001, at Good Samaritan Nursing Center.
She was born December 2, 1898, at Basalt, Idaho, the 5th of 8 children born to Joseph Mack Bybee and Alice Angeline King Bybee. She grew up and attended schools in the Basalt area and graduated from high school there.
She married Anton Vern Styhl of Firth, Idaho, November 19, 1919 at Idaho Falls. They made their home and farmed in Firth until 1943, when they moved to Yakima, Washington. She was a homemaker and mother and worked as a telegrapher in Firth at the railroad depot. They moved to Pocatello in 1973. Her husband passed away March 3, 1985.
She was active for many years and was a charter member of the Firth Assembly of God Church. She devoted her life to her family and the Lord. She enjoyed time spent with her family, especially her seven grandchildren, Cheryl (Montana), Steven (Wisconsin), David (Washington), Dennis (Indiana), Norman (New Mexico), Douglas (Indiana), and Perry, Jr. (Kentucky), 14 Great Grandchildren, and one Great Great Granddaughter.
Surviving are:Daughter: Norma Jean Keeton, Blackfoot, ID 7 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Granddaughter.She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers, and four sisters.
Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 3, 2002, at the Assembly of God Church in Firth, Idaho, with Reverend Harry Hunter officiating.
The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the services at the church.
