Della Jamison - 06/18/2002 Della Jamison - 06/18/2002 DELLA JAMISON IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Della Jamison, 78, of Idaho Falls, died June 15, 2002, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was born November 6, 1923, at New Harmony, Utah, to William E. Chinn and Olive Isabell Leavitt Chinn. The family moved to Richfield, Utah, and then to Shelley and Idaho Falls where she graduated from Idaho Falls High School. She married John E. McElhernie in April 1947. He preceded her in death in 1955. She married Elmer Bryan Jamison on February 23, 1957 at Elko, Nevada. She had worked for the Idaho Falls Police Department. She was a wife, mother, homemaker and awesome grandmother to Jim, Talon, Rex, Adam, Nick and Kristin. She enjoyed her many nieces and nephews and especially Sarah who helped her in recent years. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved fishing as often as she could, bowling, and nurturing her flower garden. Graveside Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m Thursday, June 20, 2002, at Fielding Memorial Park. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
