Della Marie Hill, 80, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 22, 2015, at Monticello Care Center in Idaho Falls. She was under the care of Access Home Care and Hospice of Idaho Falls.
Della was born October 4, 1934, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Harry Harmon Hill and Elzina Marie Adams Hill. The family lived in Ririe until Della was five years old, when they moved to Idaho Falls. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls, including East Side Elementary and O.E. Bell. She graduated from Idaho Falls High School.
Della made her home in Idaho Falls, where she worked as a bookkeeper at Business Management and Wright Oil and Tire.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served as a single adult activity leader, as well as in other church callings. She enjoyed reading, classical music, church music, yard work, and genealogy. She played the violin in high school.
Della is survived by her brother, Harry Banker (Phyllis) Hill of Idaho Falls, ID; nieces, Lynette (Breck) Johnson of Idaho Falls, ID; Karelyn (Bill) LaLone of Santa Maria, CA; and Lynda (Dan) Crall of Bremerton, WA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Elzina Hill.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2015, at Rigby-Pioneer Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue.
