DELLA ROSE DENNING
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Della Rose Jenson Denning, 80, passed
away September 26, 2003, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center due to
complications of diabetes.
She was born March 18, 1923, in Shelton, Idaho, to Nels
Jenson and Rose Slaughter Jenson.
She married Leon A. Denning August 5, 1944. They made their
home in Iona until recently when both she and Leon moved to Life Care Center
in Idaho Falls.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints where she taught primary for many years.
She was a homemaker and loved to crochet and created many
beautiful dolls, doilies, and afghans.

Son: Gaylen E. (Trudy) Denning, Idaho Falls, ID
Stepson: Dennis Denning, Phoenix, AZ
Sister: Marcelene Wheeler, Ririe, ID
Sister: Ivy (Byron) Farnsworth, Idaho Falls, ID
Sister-in-law: Erma Jenson, Idaho Falls, ID
13 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rose Colleen, a son, Lewis, an
infant grandson, Eric Stewart, a son-in-law, Jess Criddle, and four brothers,
Calvin, Jay, Carl, and Allen Jenson.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, September
29, 2003, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines, 273 North Ridge, with Bishop
Ken Wrightson officiating.
The family will meet with friends for one hour prior to
the services at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction
of Wood Funeral Home.
