Delight Kearney Maxfield

DELIGHT MAXFIELD IDAHO FALLS, ID - Delight Yvonne Maxfield, 78, of Idaho Falls, died August 13, 2004, at Good Samaritan Nursing Center. She was born May 2, 1926, in Salt Creek, Wyoming, to Marshall M. Kearney and Mary Lou Saathoff Kearney. She attended schools in Wyoming, and graduated from the University of Wyoming. She married Don G. Maxfield August 4, 1971, in Idaho Falls. She was a school teacher in Wyoming for 18 years. She was a partner, with her husband, in Don’s Service Station & Equipment Co. for 25 years. She enjoyed fishing, crossword puzzles, travel, driving, and raised beautiful roses. Surviving are: Husband: Don Maxfield, Idaho Falls, ID Stepdaughter: Nancy (Steve) Lee, Belgium Stepdaughter: Vicky (Todd) Schweickardt, Silverdale, WA Sister: Gail (Ray) Gossett, Riverton, WY She was preceded in death by her parents. At Delight’s request, no funeral services are planned. Arrangements were under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
