Delberta C. Hatch - 05/08/2003 Delberta C. Hatch - 05/08/2003 DELBERTA C. HATCH IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Delberta Wanda Crowley Hatch, 85, of Idaho Falls, died May 7, 2003, at Idaho Falls Care Center. She was born June 20, 1917, in Idaho Falls, to Charles Ray Crowley and Wanda Katherine Czapiewsky Crowley. She grew up and attended schools in the Idaho Falls area. She also attended the University of Idaho and graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in education. She then taught kindergarten in the Salt Lake area. She married Joseph Miles Hatch August 25, 1938, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. She was a homemaker and mother. Her husband passed away March 8, 1979. An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she taught Sunday School and Primary and was a counselor in the Primary Presidency. She was a collector of coins, books, dolls, stamps, and comic books. She loved scrapbooking and was a voracious reader, especially of mysteries and romance novels. She loved to travel. Her greatest delight were her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Crowley, a sister, Delsa Vivian Hatch, and a great grandson, Daniel Sessions. Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2003, at the Idaho Falls LDS Parkwood Ward, 395 – 2nd Street, with Bishop LaMont Hanson officiating. The family will visit with friends on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) and Saturday for one hour prior to the services at the church.
